Capstone Ideas

For my capstone project I am plan to make an app that concentrates on helping kids get healthy. Because of the demographic of my project, I will have to make sure that the theme is appealing to that of a child's interest. I plan to make my app as more of a game so that children will be drawn to it, and so that they will have fun, while at the same time get healthy.

Vintage Periods

What do you consider vintage?
Anything antique like things from the Victorian Era or The Roaring 20's. I'd consider a lot of washed out shades of brown to be vintage. The Great Gatsby, Pride and Prejudice, etc.

What is your favorite vintage period?
My favorite vintage period would be around the 1920's or the Victorian Age.

What styles of clothes, cars, furniture, buildings, colors, designs, etc remind you of your favorite vintage periods? Post examples.

Clothes: Types of clothes that flappers wore in the 20's, and the style of clothing worn by people during the times of The Great Gatsby.
                       




Cars during the period between 1919 to around 1930. A Bentley from this era would be considered vintage.




Furniture: Vanity tables and sets would be considered vintage because of their style and designs.

 




Designs: Antique looking designs that would appear on vanity sets with the same general swirly patterns.
